On 7 March 2023, Dr Mary Graham and Dr Morgan Brigg were the keynote speakers at the Australian National University's inaugural Coral Bell School Annual Lecture on Indigenous Diplomacy, 'Indigenous International Relations: Old Peoples & New Pragmatism'. This lecture is the first and only national event in Australia celebrating and exploring First Nations peoples and their contributions to international relations, diplomacy, foreign policy, and political thought.
Introduced by Minister for Foreign Affairs Senator Penny Wong, Dr Graham and Dr Brigg engaged in a deep exploration of Aboriginal Australian political ordering and relationality in international politics.
Congatulations to Dr Graham and Dr Brigg for this seminal event!
