Congratulations Faiza El-Higzi on winning the 2018 Qld Multicultural Outstanding Individual Achiever Award!

On Sunday 19th August, 2018 our School's HDR student Faiza El-Higzi was awarded the Qld Multicultural Outstanding Individual Achiever Award. The picture below shows Faiza receiving her award from the Hon Stirling Hinchcliffe, Qld State Minister for Local Government, Racing and Multicultural Affairs and a representative from Qld Rail who sponsor the award.

Faiza is supervised by Dr Nicole George and Dr Gerhard Hoffstaedter and her project title is 'Gender, Islam and family law reform: comparing the political process of reform in Morocco and Malaysia'.
