Urban Development: The Asha Model
Dr Kiran Martin is a celebrated expert in urban health and has helped thousands of people through their work with marginalised communities in Delhi. After studying at the University of Delhi’s Maulana Azad Medical College and earning a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree, Dr Martin went on to specialise in paediatrics at Lady Hardinge Medical College. From there, Dr Martin used the insight they gained through volunteering to found Asha India.
This lecture provides an amazing opportunity for staff and students alike to learn from someone so accomplished in activist driven urban health development.
