Prof James Weinstein, Amelia Lewis Professor of Constitutional Law and Associate Fellow, Centre for Public Law, University of Cambridge will be presenting a seminar at the School of Law on 17 June, 12-2pm, Room 442 in General Purpose North Building 39A. The topic will be: ‘Hate Speech Bans, Democracy and Political Legitimacy’ and the talk is an engagement with Jeremy Waldron’s argument that democracy can be a basis for an argument in favour of hate speech bans.
