2022 Annual Employability Fair

6 September 2022

In a rapidly changing job market, taking stock of one's employability looks pretty different for a student graduating in 2022 in contrast to 2002. Though the future of work is growing ever more unpredictable, one thing we can be sure of is the enduring demand for the critical, analytical skillset gained from a degree training in political science and international relations.

As part of our ongoing commitment to preparing our graduates for their professional lives beyond the university, the School of Political Science and International Studies held our annual Employability Fair last Wednesday evening, 31 August. The Fair's aim is to show students the many exciting avenues of work available for students of political science and international relations – both conventional and unconventional.

The event connected our network of outstanding students and alumni to a dozen industry representatives from the public and private sectors, including representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, PwC, the Reserve Bank of Australia and KPMG.
