Tune in below to hear Professor Roland Bleiker and Associate Professor Andrew Phillips discuss what inspires and drives their research. 

In this video, Roland shares how his passion for visual global politics goes a long way back to a diplomatic job that he held in the Korean Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) in Panmunjom over three decades ago. Roland's current research includes working with several partner organisations such as the World Press Photo foundation in Amsterdam and International Committee of The Red Cross in Geneva. Professor Roland Bleiker teaches international relations, peace studies and political theory in the School of Political Science and International Studies at The University of Queensland. Associate Professor Andrew Phillips researches across the broad areas of: International Relations, Terrorism, International Security and War. In this video, Andrew describes his passion for big change in world politics. He shows his interest in questions, such as: How are international orders made? And how can communities cultivate collaboration and mitigate violent conflict between one another? Dr Phillips is Deputy Director Graduate Centre in Governance and International Affairs. He is also Associate Professor within the School of Political Science and International Studies at The University of Queensland. In the video, Andrew also promotes his latest book with J.C.
